About The Role
We have set up a new Uber Advertising division to spearhead the growth of our advertising business. By building a dedicated advertising organization and a suite of advertising products, Uber Advertising will enable merchants and brands to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets!
As an Agency Partner, you will work closely with our largest agency partners in the UK to develop Uber Advertsing. You will be an Ads platform expert who can authoritatively speak to our marketing partners about Uber's Ads offerings and how our products can deliver on their marketing objectives. You will report to the Head of UK Ads and work closely with the wider team including the CPG and Enterprise Teams.
What You Will Do
• Develop and implement agency account plans focused on providing education, go-to-market support, driving demand, establishing partnerships, and ensuring advocacy and trust
• Partner with external stakeholders and leadership across key functions in support of our mutual business
• Partner with sales and functional leadership to deliver on established revenue targets
• Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate relationships and difficult partner conversations
• Provide marketplace feedback to cross-functional teams to inform ads products and strategy
• Host business reviews with external and internal leadership (QBR's, etc.)
• Be ready to wear many hats to build our business and jump in to help your broader teammates when the need arises
Basic Qualifications
• 8+ years of advertising sales or agency experience
• Proven track record of building and managing a multi-million dollar advertising business
• Embodies and promotes the values of Uber
Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent listening, communication, organizational skills, and account management skills
• Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity
• Previous experience working with agency leadership to establish partnership plans and grow business/ demand
• Previous experience working with cross-functional teams on go-to-market opportunities (sales, product, marketing, measurement)
• Creative storyteller with the ability to use data to quantify opportunities and influence decision makers
• Previous experience establishing data partnerships and/or managing 1P data solutions
• Comprehensive understanding of measurement solutions applied across the funnel (to track lift vs. attribution, etc.)
