Experience:
- Track record of managing PPC Retail-focused accounts with annual budgets exceeding £500k as a senior account manager or account director.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional performance through analysis, testing, and execution that adds business value.
- Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and SA360 platforms, including advanced use of bidding strategies, offline conversions, and custom variables.
- Experience with Automation and Feed-based solutions for driving efficiency at scale.
- Strong understanding of industry best practices and Google best practices, with the ability to find the right balance.
- Expert knowledge of measurement methodologies, privacy-centric features, and attribution within Google Ads, GA, and SA360.
- Passion for innovation and delivering award-winning work in planning and buying implementation.
- Experience in leading, motivating, and managing junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Work and Innovation:
- Develop and drive PPC and retail/performance strategy for selected accounts.
- Lead innovation initiatives from ideation to delivery.
- Develop and deliver performance media roadmaps, focusing on Search & Digital Maturity.
- Present analysis, updates, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with client and specialist teams to deliver integrated cross-channel campaigns.
- Manage relationships with media owners and technology platform providers.
- Stay updated on PPC & Performance industry trends, product releases, and new technologies.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead by example and support the continuous improvement of team performance.
- Set objectives and provide ongoing support for direct reports and junior team members.
- Work with Head of Search to evaluate and enhance team training and development.
Operations & Commercial:
- Ensure best-in-class work on assigned accounts by identifying areas for performance improvement.
- Follow team and agency processes to improve quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Support wider team initiatives, drive search excellence, digital maturity, and contribute to industry recognition.
