The role. A strategic leader for our global clients.
Global clients are critical to our network growth and lead the way in scaling collaborative new ways of working across the network, therefore we are looking for an exceptional Global Strategy Lead to shape our global media strategy for two of our largest clients.
Global client 1) are on a transformative journey as they aim to meet the world’s growing need for more and cleaner energy solutions. Meeting that growing need will come from the development of advanced technologies and taking an innovative approach to building a future that is economically, environmentally, and socially responsible. As part of this journey, your role is to support in building trust with consumers in their development of cleaner energy, as well as preference of their quality products, services, and solutions. We need a strong media thinker who can shape cohesive global campaigns that build the brand and deliver long term business growth.
Global client 2) with a strong portfolio of global, regional and local brands, are the world’s largest pure-play coffee & tea company with No.1 & No.2 position in 42 markets. The marketing philosophy is rooted in building brands that endure over time. However, the media landscape is changing, and our role is to guide on how to keep their brands relevant now and in the future. We need a strong media thinker who can shape cohesive global campaigns that build brand and deliver long term business growth.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Delivering meaningful strategic leadership with clients.
Meaningful Client Relationships
As the Strategy Lead, you are expected to become a valued and trusted advisor to our senior clients. Therefore, you need to have experience of building strong relationships through expertise and understanding.
- Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with the key global clients.
- Identify the client’s key business challenges or opportunities, and quantify the outcomes required to meet the business goals.
- Confident approach to presenting to C-level clients across a range of topics, both within the specialism of media and the broader spectrum of communications.
- Proactively identify strategic issues before they become real client problems and demonstrate strong analytical and strategic skills to help address them.
- You have highly developed business acumen with solid commercial, strategic, and analytical skills.
Strategic Leadership
Our ideal Strategy Lead needs to drive the strategic agenda for both clients. Our task is to help the client build an insight-led, data-driven approach to communications. Your role is key in shaping our thinking.
- Able to deliver enduring global comms strategies built with data driven insights which can be consistently activated across multiple markets.
- Strong application of data to build insight driven communications.
- Understands the elements needed (media, creative, owned assets) to build integrated campaigns and can create strategies that knit the brand together.
- You possess a keen understanding of the ever-changing media landscape with a point of view on the trends that are pushing the industry as well as an understanding of shifting consumer behaviour.
- You are a strong communicator and skilled storyteller, who sets the bar high for themselves and their team, with the ability to bring multiple, diverse groups of people together to define a single end-to-end solution.
