Head quartered in Sydney, Australia, WINR Data www.winrdata.com is the third successful start-up in our portfolio and we are looking for a hungry, self-driven business development professional to work autonomously across the US, in one of the fastest growing industry sectors in the world.
US based, Hybrid of Office and Homebased depending on geography (North American Head Office will be based out of New York). Must have ability to travel extensively domestically in the US and occasionally overseas (EU & Australia).

You have probably already worked with some of our clients. They include the major Adtech/Martech platform vendors such as LiveRamp, The Trade Desk, Eyeota, Experian & Equifax. Whilst typically head quartered in the US, they have a requirement for international data sets that will enable them to deliver a truly global product offering, with consistent quality and compliance standards. We support the AdTech Industry to future-proof its global identity resolution and addressability strategies against signal loss and increased Privacy regulation by creating a link between digital and terrestrial identifiers.
We help connect people and households to their digital identifiers allowing our clients to backfill their identity graphs supporting onboarding, targeting, and measurement on a global scale
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager drives business growth for WINR with new in several ways:
- Engage in all phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients (virtual and in person); developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; contract negotiation and closing.
- Leverage external relationships and personal networks to generate sales leads.
- Originate new opportunities via cold call, email and social.
- Develop and maintain an accurate, high-quality sales pipeline.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, our competition and latest industry developments.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years data sales experience (identity resolution, programmatic marketplace, analytics, data management) for midsize to large corporations.
- Experience selling data licenses with Annual Order Values over $150,000.
- You will have an existing network within the industry to support a softer landing and opportunity for success.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is preferable. Master's degree a plus.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- A resilient and persuasive personality.
- No reservations making outbound cold calls.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.

Working out of the new US office doesn’t mean you’ll be alone. The Sydney team are a friendly bunch, invested in supporting you in being successful.
- CEO is on the Ground! – For at least 4 months of the year, the CEO will be based out of the US office, supporting your mission on a day to day basis as we continue the rapid growth.
- Training in Sydney – You will be based out of the Sydney office for one month of training at the beginning of your journey.
- Mentoring – you will receive mentoring and product support from the CEO (Sales) and COO (Product) who are available for internal catchups and to attend more formal client support meetings on Zoom or in person.
- Annual Gathering – The team also gathers in Sydney once a year for two weeks for planning, training and simply enjoying time with our colleagues!
- Country visits - Australians love to travel. Team mates will come to the US on average 2-3 times a year to support you and your sales efforts.
- Team Meetings - You will attend Team Meetings/Sales Meetings weekly to maintain engagement and integration with the team.
- IT Support – you will have access to our virtual support team.
