Too often, I see brilliant people undersell their impact. Their CV reads like a job description rather than a story of strengths, outcomes, and what makes them hireable right now.
Your CV needs to:
- Start with impact
- Align with the roles you’re aiming for
- Translate your value across roles or regions
LinkedIn is essentially your 1st interview
A recruiter may open your application, but they and the Hiring manager may check your profile too. What does it say about you? More importantly, what does it signal to them?
Strong profiles:
- Show your value in the headline and first 2 lines of your “about section”
- Use keywords for visibility
- Convey who you are, not just what you’ve done
And Interviewing? It’s not about scripts. It’s about storytelling.
