The Role
We’re hiring a Solutions Architect to partner closely with commercial, product, and data science teams to craft high-impact solutions for Chalice customers. You’ll be instrumental in shaping technical strategies that unlock revenue and deepen client value particularly in the UK market, with exposure across EMEA. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for someone who thrives on complexity and wants to make a visible mark at a high-growth, fast paced business leading innovation in ad tech.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with commercial leads to diagnose client needs and design tailored, scalable Chalice solutions.
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and data scoping during pre-sales and early implementation phases.
- Serve as a bridge between commercial, product, and data science to ensure solutions are viable, valuable, and aligned with our broader roadmap.
- Support the delivery of AI-driven products with hands-on integration guidance, architecture planning, and post-launch optimisations.
- Represent Chalice externally as a technical expert, especially within the UK ad tech and data ecosystem.
- Identify and shape regional requirements that inform product and go-to-market decisions across EMEA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience & Domain Expertise
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with programmatic advertising platforms.
- Proven experience designing and implementing technical solutions in a commercial context.
- 5–7+ years in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or sales engineering—ideally within advertising, marketing tech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Platform & Ecosystem Knowledge
- Expert-level knowledge of DV360 and The Trade Desk.
- Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem across mobile and web.
- Familiarity with SSP curation platforms (e.g., Xandr Curate, Index Exchange).
- Strong grasp of the UK data and ad tech landscape (programmatic, identity, clean rooms, analytics); EMEA exposure is a plus.
- Familiarity with ad verification tools and measurement providers.
- Technical Fluency
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience collaborating closely with data science and engineering teams.
- Fluency in ML applications within ad tech, including algorithmic optimisation.
- Comfortable navigating APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-based tools.
- Able to write and interpret technical documentation and specifications.

- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort with technical and commercial complexity.
- Understanding of data analysis and visualisation tools.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across commercial and technical audiences.
- Proven ability to influence deal strategy and technical implementation.
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
