We’d love to hear from you if:
Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you qualify, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch.
We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Business Development Associate to join our team. You will be the "Director of Operations" for our most important sales pitches. Your mission is to take the administrative and logistical weight off our senior closers, allowing them to focus on strategy while you ensure every pitch runs like a Swiss watch.
This is a "behind-the-scenes" role with a front-row seat to how major deals are won. You’ll gain a masterclass in project management, creative storytelling, and high-stakes sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Pitch Project Management: Own the pitch calendar. You’ll set internal deadlines, schedule rehearsals, and ensure all stakeholders (legal, tech, creative) deliver their inputs on time.
- Creative Coordination: Act as the bridge between the sales team and the design department. You’ll ensure decks are visually stunning, brand-compliant, and tailored to the specific prospect.
- Pitch Theater & Logistics: Manage the "experience" of the sell. This includes setting up virtual environments, coordinating physical leave-behinds, managing tech demos, and ensuring the "theater" of the presentation is flawless.
- Asset Management: Maintain a library of winning case studies, slide templates, and RFP responses so the team never has to "reinvent the wheel."
- Administrative Support: Assist with CRM data entry, prospect research, and post-pitch follow-up coordination.
Who You Are
- A Master Coordinator: You live for a good checklist. You can manage multiple moving parts without breaking a sweat.
- A "High-Stakes" Mindset: You understand that in a pitch, the small details (a broken link, a typo, a late start) can make or break a deal.
- Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in PowerPoint/Keynote and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot). Bonus points if you have a "design eye."
- Communicator: You aren't afraid to "manage up" to senior leaders to ensure they meet their deadlines.
- Ambitious: You want to understand the sales process from the ground up and eventually grow into a strategic selling or operations role.
Why This Role?
- Direct Impact: You aren't just doing busy work; you are directly responsible for the quality of the work that brings revenue into the company.
- Mentorship: You will work side-by-side with our top-performing closers, learning their tactics and strategies.
- Career Path: This role is designed to evolve into a Business Development Manager or a Sales Operations Lead.
The hiring salary range for this role is $40,000 - $50,000 . We also offer an incentive pay program comprising a variable revenue payment opportunity and a discretionary annual performance bonus.
Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits, incentive pay, and equity upon request. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for > Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
