Overview
The Paid Search Activation team deliver best in class performance marketing execution within Team H&M. Split across London, New York and India, we service six regions plus the Lifestyle Business Units, and our core function is to deliver best in class paid search media planning and immaculate client servicing.
In the London-based EMEA Hub, each sub-team will lead one region (inclusive of Lifestyle Business Units). The sub-team for this role will have one Director, one Manager and one Senior Executive looking after the Central European region.

Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and execution of paid search activity across your allocated region, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and overall media strategy.
- Translate client briefs into robust, insight-driven paid search plans, defining approach across keywords, audiences, budgets, and channel mix. The ‘Big 4’ moments of the year are Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter/Holiday.
- Own the end-to-end planning process, including briefing interpretation, KPI setting, forecasting, budget allocation, and campaign structure design, keeping the Planning Teams in consultation for cohesiveness.
- Oversee campaign performance and ensure timely, high-quality insight delivery, driving continuous optimisation to meet or exceed agreed targets.
- Partner with the Paid Search Business Director and senior stakeholders to support the development and delivery of both global and regional initiatives, ensuring paid search is effectively represented from briefing through to activation.
- Build and maintain strong regional client relationships, using market insights and performance data to inform strategy and guide decision-making for delivery of immaculate client service.
- Define and lead a bespoke and structured regional test-and-learn agenda, ensuring clear hypotheses, measurement frameworks, and actionable outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in planning and activation approaches, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Line manage and develop managers within the team, providing guidance on strategic planning from briefs, campaign execution, and client leadership.
- Ensure consistent application of best practices across planning, activation, and performance analysis within the team.
Team Responsibilities:
- Manage the workload and professional development for one Paid Search Manager.
- Host/participate in regular check ins with the internal team (activation & planning) to manage deliverables and set expectations.
- Embrace and drive positive culture within your team.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- Senior experience leading paid search strategy and activation across multiple markets
- Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads
- Proven ability to own end-to-end planning, budgets, forecasting, and performance delivery
- Experience driving full-funnel paid search performance across key seasonal moments
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of optimisation and results
- Confident senior stakeholder and client partner at regional and global level
- Experience leading, developing, and coaching managers
- Passion for testing, innovation, and best-practice performance marketing
- Strong collaboration skills within cross-functional, multi-location teams
