About the client....
Publicis Le One is a bespoke Publicis Media agency proposition for Haleon the rebrand of GSK Consumer Health, looking after flagship household health care brands such as Sensodyne, Voltaren, Panadol, Aquafresh and many more. This role sits within the strategy team delivering for the Global Marketing department for Haleon.
Overview
About the role....
Sitting within the Publicis LEON London Hub, you will be a core member of our strategy/client team, working directly with the Global Category client team on their OHC (Oral Health Care brands). This includes the market leaders Sensodyne, Polident and Paradontax. You will lead and be supported by Global Strategy Associate Directors, Managers and Account Executives.
You will play a front-line role in guiding the application of data and strategic excellence across all that we do: delivering our Experience Planning process, building audience understanding, shaping strategic innovation and communication strategies, while also facilitating the relationship both across the IAT and with senior client leadership.
Haleon have undergone significant evolution under the new brand launch and to continue with their rapid growth they must make deeper, more persuasive, more emotional connections with consumers. The Global Category Strategy Lead will play an essential role in this journey by guiding the development of market leading connections strategies and ensuring we operate at the leading edge of strategic media thinking and practice. Consequently, we are seeking candidates with drive, passion, energy, and emotional intelligence to drive change.
Responsibilities
About the work....
- Oversee the successful delivery of the Connections Planning Annual Guidelines and monitoring local market adoption as part of the end-to-end planning process
- Persuade and influence large strategic shifts with senior client leadership
- Guide the strategic media direction to align to category/brand future vision and annual objectives; ensure high-quality of work
- Facilitate collaboration across the Integrated Agency Team and other disciplines within the Publicis Le One team
- Lead and support the Publicis Le One Global Category Strategy Teams to cultivate a positive environment of evolved thinking, collaborative working, workplace (in-person or virtual) happiness and career development
- Line management of your Category strategy team. Lead via coaching to develop individuals and their careers and ensure best practice is delivered across their work
Qualifications
What you need to succeed....
- You are a strategic visionary with the ability to see the big picture and translate it into tangible actions
- You are a strategic planner with a track record of developing insight driven, data fuelled communication solutions, someone who is prepared to ‘lean in’ and drive transformation for a client that has embraced change with a proven expertise in media planning spanning on and offline
- You can lead, inspire, motivate, and guide a team and have an innate ability to identify and interpret actionable insights using data
- You are a natural communicator who is happy to present to extremely senior clients and to speak simply when explaining strategy
- You have a Point of View along with the confidence to challenge the client and team and to ensure delivery on marketing metrics that drive to business outcome
- You think creatively and work collaboratively with cross agency teams to drive thinking through to activation
- You are passionate about brilliant client service and have fostered this within a team to ensure smooth delivery across complex businesses
