About The VP, East Coast Demand Sales Role

After enjoying significant success, Onetag is now rapidly scaling internationally and is looking for a senior programmatic sales leader to join our New York based sales team.

As the VP, East Coast you will accelerate & refine our Go To Market Strategy in the US, building and scaling the demand sales team in New York. You & your team will be selling into Tier 1 & independent media agencies with an initial focus on Publics but will rapidly look to expand on this. At this early stage of our growth in-market, this role will be a player/coach role, however you will have a mandate to build & scale the team enabling you to move into a management role in the future where you will provide inspirational leadership to your team. You will also represent Onetag at high profile industry events across the US, regularly participating as part of round tables & other speaking engagements, further raising the profile of the company.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established senior programmatic sales leader who has a desire to rapidly build their own team and take an innovative solution to market.

What You’ll Do:

Working in an ad tech startup means that things often change and we adapt to the growing and changing needs of the business. We expect the below to be the bulk of the role, but this may change over time:

Build & refine the US Go To Market Strategy
Build and scale a high performing & diverse, New York based programmatic sales team selling into Tier 1 & Independent media agencies
Own all revenue forecasting for the US demand sales team
Own and deliver against individual sales targets
Work closely with the global management team & product to inform the product roadmap
Represent Onetag at industry events across the United States

Skills You’ll Have:

Extensive experience selling a display programmatic, video & CTV solutions into US based media agencies
Extensive network at senior levels in New York media agencies with a particular focus on digital trading & programmatic buying teams within Publicis, IPG, & Jellyfish, Horizon, Mightyhive & MIQ
Experience of building & scaling a successful agency sales team
Deep knowledge of programmatic tech including SSPs, DSPs, Curation, Pre Bid, Google OB, Amazon TAM
Demonstrated experience successfully building, owning & scaling a significant revenue pipeline
Experience of launching a European solution into the US (preferred)

The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
