We bring together the best of GroupM media, GroupM nexus capabilities in creative, AI and marketing science with Choreograph product and platforms to turn market technologies into market leading solutions for clients.We are Solutions Development.
The underlying architecture of Solutions Development has been established to realize our shared mission and deliver an integrated GroupM where every ad experience works harder for clients. Cross-channel is our shared priority, through Best-In-Market channel solutions, where media is connected to deliver business impact and metrics that matter for clients.
There are two teams within Solutions Development who solution across UK and Pan Regional:
-A team to technically scope, integrate and deploy platforms, capabilities, technologies and best practice to enable cross-channel at scale. We call this Solutions Integration (SI)
-A team to design and develop Best-In-Market channel solutions, that stand up as point solutions for clients, configured for cross-channel agility. We call this Channel Development (CD)
As a squad we have 3 key need states to solve for
- Clients – who need to grow their business, connect media & audiences at scale, demonstrating effectiveness for the short and long term.
- Colleagues – who need simplicity and repeatability in a world where DSPs are nuanced, technology is rarely plug & play, where media fragmentation exacerbates complexity.
- Compliance – who need certainty that our Solutions are enhanced in differentiated ways utilizing proprietary capabilities allowing for net sales to be made in line with client contracts.
Role Overview
As a Solutions Development team, and as an individual contributor you will have 4 macro priorities that will shape how you lead and execute the work necessary for our Pan Regional clients to advance how we further integrate media for cross-channel innovation.
-Clients - Develop best in class channel solutions synced to client needs, and cross-channel use cases accounting for media, nexus, C9H and market technology.
-Innovation - Leading voice in what our competition are doing and what innovation needs to look like. Operating as ‘innovation agents’ connected to EMEA for market alignment.
-Compliance - Own the necessities around DFV & compliance, pricing, margin and alignment to NMS global governance for compliant solution development & business growth.
-Delivery - Lead cross-functional working groups to deliver plans as validated to enable Cross-Channel & grow in-channel point solutions as a single Solutions Development team.
While connected into the UK Solutions Development team, you will also be situated amongst a brand-new team and colleague set – a group focused on solutioning for and growing our Pan Regional client based and business.
Pan Regional is an exciting growth area of our business where we work as a hubbed unit to deliver campaigns and business impact to clients who require centralised planning and activation across multiple markets. The client base within our Pan Regional offer is growing in count and in billings and therefore demands a unique level of capability, experience and focus.
As the Solutions Lead for Pan Regional you will have the opportunity to drive our portfolio of solutions across video, audio, display, dooh and ctv across markets at scale! You will therefore need to have a brilliant blend of programmatic experience and multi-market understanding so that solutions can be created in packaged way, nuanced to the markets they are activated in.
As the Solutions Lead you will work at a leadership level with the Activation Lead and Head of Pan Regional to collectively set the strategy, align on the development priorities, then leading working groups to deliver planned requirements.
This role promises to offer design autonomy and development decisioning to positively impact clients and our business performance.

For our Pan Regional client bases and Solutions set, you will be responsible for:

- Connect with our emea& global colleagues,and our two Pan Regional hubs in Netherlands and Germany to ensure we are benefiting from the work of the group as a whole demonstrating the working benefits of an integrated GroupM.
- Research, validate and clarify areas where we can re-apply tools/capabilities/learnings from local markets, for multi-market application.
- Deliver ongoing channel/multi-market thought leadership to help inspire new client conversations
-Drive operational excellence across markets by leading the implementation of repeatable, scalable, and consistent Nexus Media Solutions in multiple markets, ensuring high-quality delivery and operational efficiency.
Innovation,
- Design solutions with cross-channel agility in mind, noting the connection of media is vital for delivering an integrated groupm, where every ad experience works harder for clients.
- Be the go-to for what is happening in Pan Regional, the maturity of your Solutions and readiness across markets.
- Have a keen eye on global platforms that offer multi-market activations and build differentiation into our Pan Regional solutions narrative.
- Own your own requirements gathering and validation.
- Deliver a Pan Regional development and testing plan, responsible for your own product materials working collaboratively with the wider Channel Development team for consistent documentation.
- Collaborate with Solutions Integrationsto enableproprietary products and platforms in our solutions, driving channel testing, operationalization and best practice for repeatable scale.
- Collaborate with our media & investment team to ensure effective media utilization, signaling as necessary where supply chain enhancements are necessary, collaborating with local markets to access local supply marketplaces.
-Own and evolve the Market Maturity Matrix and Channel Supply Overview, ensuring all teams have up-to-date, actionable insights into solution coverage, supply, and measurement capabilities by market.
-Design and roll out standardised, “plug & play” solutions for core and secondary markets, reducing custom builds and enabling faster, more reliable activation for pan-regional clients.
Compliance,
- Own the delivery of compliance requirements and development of minimum enhancements in and across Solutions.
- Continually review pricing, margin setting, margin extraction and product market fit to ensure time spent is equating to business impact.
- Have a deep understanding of the supply chain and cost model for the solutions in Pan Regional.
Delivery,
- Lead cross-functional working groups to deliver developments & planned benefits.
- Work with our partnerships team utilizing partner benefits to enhance our solutions.
- Goal set yourself, your channel and those you lead to grow in billings and net sales.
- Take the lead on colleague upskilling to ensure an inspiring sell, available as necessary for clients and agency engagements.
- Troubleshoot and pro-actively manage business challenges as they arise to ensure an enhanced and integrated portfolio of solutions for clients.
-Oversee the creation and upkeep of a centralised supply deal documentation system, collaborating with Supply Ops, Investment, and Solutions Integrations to streamline media owner and SSP partnerships across regions.
- Facilitate alignment and collaboration between Channel Development, Activation, Client Leadership, and Commercial Strategy teams to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement of the Pan-Regional offer.
Requirements /
Skills & Experience
-You are experienced in Adtech & media supply technologies. In particular you have a number of years of portfolio experience in ad tech, programmatic and/or campaign management to be able to independently design, develop and deliver innovation for your Solution set.
- Ideally you will have hands on experience working with SSPs and / or DSPs to solution for the core architecture of modern media.
-You have experience solving for the complexities of multi-market. Demonstrable experience in a multi-market setting where you will have worked with the media maturity nuances between different markets enabling you to simplify campaign activations.
-You are customer driven. Prioritising our agencies and customers to aid high quality validation through to the delivery of planned features with clear points of value that enhance the experience had with GroupM nexus.
- Ideally you will have qualifications and experience in product/solution development, leading cross-function teams to deliver development plans and customer benefit
-You are naturally curious. Curious about the future of our industry, the changing shape of the landscape and keen to unpick future opportunities for us to consider as part of our plans accounting for market nuance.
-You help make the complex simple. Your set of experiences and understanding enables you to communicate to senior stakeholders and influence team mates to drive and deliver positive change.
